Food Garbage Recycler - FGR

Description

The FGR kitchen appliance is designed to facilitate separation and disposal of inedible food parts. This innovative appliance is installed in the kitchen cabinet beneath the sink, seamlessly integrating with the sink drain and sewage system. The appliance automatically separates food waste, water and oils, providing a streamlined waste management solution.

Within the device, there are designated compartments: one for food waste and another for waste oils. The food waste compartment is sufficiently sized to accommodate food waste up to 14 days, while the oil compartment requires emptying just once every six months. This feature significantly reduces the time spent managing waste in your home.

Installation of FGR

To determine if the FGR fits your existing kitchen layout, it is necessary to measure the distance from the drainage hole in the kitchen sink to each of the sides.

  • There should be at least 230 mm of space on the left and right sides of the opening.
  • There must be a minimum of 260 mm of space from the opening to the inner part of the kitchen cabinet (excluding the doors on the kitchen cabinet).
  • From the opening to the back wall, there must be at least 200 mm of space to allow room for connecting the outlet from the FGR to the house sewage system.
  • The drainage outlet into the house sewage system must not exceed 400 mm in height. Depending on the height of the kitchen cabinet.

To operate the FGR, it is necessary to provide connections to electricity (220V 50Hz) and sewage (Fi 40mm)

How to design kitchen cabinet for pull-out bins

For the installation of pull-out bins, the kitchen cabinet + countertop must be at least 85 cm high.

A= Kitchen cabinet + countertop

B=Toe kick (6/8/10/12/15 cm)

A+B=The height of the working surface in the kitchen

C=The height intended for pull-out kitchen bins

*(Assuming the sink is 21 cm high and the bottom of the kitchen cabinet is 1,8 cm thick)

A= 76 cm - 82 cm (HAILO AS Allegro)

A= 82 cm - 85 cm (BLANCO Flexon II low)

A= 85 cm - 95 cm (BLANCO Flexon II low / Flexon II / Select II)

A= 95 cm - (BLANCO Flexon II low / Flexon II / Select + orga)
